2012 Thanksgiving Cards

Below are examples of Thanksgiving cards I sent this year.
This was a hit with my son and daughter-in-law.  I love sending
cards that can be used as a seasonal decoration.
The cute little turkey on this card was a stamped image
I colored in with gel pens.
The inside of the turkey card includes pumpkins
created with a border punch.
I created the pumpkin embellishment on this card
with two different punches and a puffy sticker.

Fall 2012 Mini Album

This is a mini album I made of all our family fall 2012 adventures.  The base is an eight-page piece of junk mail.  The paper is from Graphic 45's Happy Haunting collection, which I absolute love!

The closure is a ribbon that wraps around a charm
I made from the paper collection.

The back cover includes my favorite image from
the paper collection.

Another Halloween Card

This is one of my favorite Halloween cards I made this year.  I cut the haunted mansion with my Cricut and hand cut the orange lining, which was tedious but well worth the effort.  I love how the mansion worked so well with the purple background paper that included the tree with an owl.

These are some of the Halloween cards I made this year.  I really need to get a light tent, so I can get better photos of my paper crafts. Sounds like a good plan for 2013!

Pumpkin Cards

Inspired by one of Paperkitz's tutorials on YouTube, I made these 3D Halloween cards for my grandsons.  When the half circle is released from its belly band, it spreads to a cute little pumpkin!

Owl Treat Box

I found this owl treat box online and couldn't resist.  I made one for each of my eight special trick-or-treaters.  I doubt I'll ever make them again.  They're a lot of work for something that will be ripped apart.  Plus, they don't hold much, just a tiny Halloween box of Milk Duds.

Elliott's Sanibel Box

To help my grandson contain all of his Sanibel treasures, I decorated this box and included a small photo album. The album is six small pockets held together with a binder ring.

Baby Boy Mini Album

Baby Boy Mini Album

The album includes six pockets.  I punched photo corners
on the covers of both sides of the pockets to easily insert photos.

This is the mini album I made for the neighbors who just became grandparents.  Since it's only my second mini album, I was thrilled it was so well received.
Each of the six pockets includes an insert with photo corners punched
on the bottom.   The top of the photo slips under the heart.
